It's the return of everyone's favorite service: The Decision Maker! It's been quite a long time since we offered our services but we're here to help!

What is it, you ask? Read on!

Sometimes, you need to make a decision and you're stuck. You're sitting at the crossroads of some choice that will set the course of the rest of your LIFE (or at least afternoon) and you Just. Cannot. Decide.

The only thing you want is someone to make the decision for you. For you and you alone, we have created the Decision Maker platform. Now with more snark!

Just post your choices* in the comments along with any explanation you think is necessary and I and my panel of decision-making experts will tell you what to do.**

Voila! It's just that simple! 100% satisfaction or DOUBLE your money back.***

*You must actually have at least two and no more than six definite choices. If you don't have any idea then you're not ready for Decision Maker. You want Idea Generator. Two journals down, on your left.

**Experts may or may not be made of resin, speak English, have six sides with dots on them, occasionally respond 'reply hazy, please try again'. Decisions not guaranteed to be the right ones. Panel is not responsible for any actions taken by querier.

***Offer void where prohibited by law. Your mileage may vary. Entertainment purposes only. Please drive through.

Should I go get cheddar bay biscuits, or enter into some kind of rehab program for them?

(Dammit, I can't find the Rehab video. Therefore this will have to do as a response. Also this video sucks but I'm going to dinner, so.)

I'm assessing my options for next year.

Should I
1) Apply for a one year graduate diploma in education ($6000 in deferred fees, $55k starting salary, stable work)

2) Apply for a Masters in Cultural Materials Conservation (2 years, full time, $35,000 in fees, no scholarships and an income of under $10k/year while I'm doing it with no garuantee of job after)

3) Apply for MA by research (1.5 - 3 years, free, unlikely to get a scholarship and therefore no income)

or 4) Stay in admin?

I'm leaning towards door number one, too - I can always do conservation part-time after I've become a teacher and it's much cheaper than the alternative.

Of course, a lot of my decision is going to be based purely on what I get into. :)

When I move to Columbus, knowing that I'll likely be deploying 1-3 months after I arrive, should I:

1. Get a furnished apartment/room ($700-1200)
2. Get an unfurnished apartment and live with an air mattress, folding table, and folding chair for 1-3 months ($500-800)
3. Just sleep in doorways

Other important fact: I will likely be in Atlanta all weekends anyways.

Should I look for another better paying job or stay in my job now where I could study part time whilst at work, knowing that I only have 1 year left on my contract?

After I finish my Tamora Pierce re-readathon, should I continue in the teenage-girl range of reading choices and re-read some Mercedes Lackey or should I go back to reading non-fiction about environmental disasters for fun?
